Cut Your Own Christmas trees starts this weekend! The cost is $60 for any tree up to 8 feet in height. Bigger trees will be priced at an additional $5 per foot. This means that a 9 ft tree will cost $65, a 10 foot tree will be $70, and so on.
We have saws available for loan to customers but suggest that you bring your own if you have one at home. We hope to have (weather, time and labor permitting) a selection of pre cut trees on display as well. Please understand that this is a small business and we have had difficulty all season long with getting help on our farm. Our staffing level is limited and we are doing our best with the amount of help that we currently have to run the store etc… There are still lots of apples for sale and our fresh pressed apple cider is now on sale at 20% off! Hope to see you here!

There are still a bunch of Golden Delicious Apples on our trees ! There are also Red Delicious, Some Spartan and Empire Apples if you look hard enough. This is probably the last chance this year as its going to be nice out Halloween Day but the weather is expected to turn rainy again and surely colder in the coming days of November. Don’t miss the opportunity that many others have experienced recently at our farm picking apples off the trees. The store will be open as well with lots of baked goods and other treats for you. The pumpkin patch is empty now but there are a selection of smaller pumpkins including white ones for sale- only costing 2 for $5….

We still have Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Spartan and Empire apples in the orchard. You may find a few other types as well like some small Cortland or Fuji…. This may be the last day for pick your own apples this year! Get here between 10 and 4 to be allowed in for PYO. Bags are $20 each. Minimum purchase required for PYO: maximum of 2 persons allowed per bag. No dogs allowed. Please also note that perfect looking large sized fruit are hard to find in the orchard, we were hit with a hailstorm this year that has put markings on the fruit surfaces. We have also seen many visitors already keen on picking the best of the best. But everybody is enjoying the fall scenery and filling their bags with juicy sweet apples! If you look hard and take your time you will find them out there. The search is half the fun! After apple picking we have hot yummy pies, fresh apple cider and baked goods in the store to take home with you….

Last week a driver from the Salvation Army was here with their truck to pick up a load of fresh apples at Albion Orchards. Pat Labuick, the Manager for Procurement with the Salvation Army in North York had contacted us with an urgent call for a contribution to help feed needy families and children. Without help from donations like these she says, many may otherwise go without. This is especially the case with fresh items (produce) as they are sometimes hard to obtain. Their motto is “Giving Hope Today” We are pleased to do our part to help in a small way!

We will be open to the public for Pick Your Own this weekend if it not raining out. Please consider coming back next weekend if it is raining out today…
Empire and Golden Delicious apples are the available varieties. Although we grow many other types of fruit, these will be the two types of apples available for Pick Your Own for this coming weekend. There are many other types of apples and even pears in our Store. All other varieties still on the trees will be up for grabs for PYO the following (Thanksgiving) weekend. Our market will be open from 10-5 with all kinds of food items and baked goods. Hope to see you here!
A few simple rules to follow:
Please do not bring your dog here unless it is a service pet or a trained circus animal that can pick apples from trees…
Please do not bring backpacks or extra bags/ luggage to enter the orchards. You will not be permitted to do so. There is also no outside food permitted. There is no trash in our farm and we want to keep it clean as possible for others to enjoy…
